The U.S. Supreme Court just ended its latest term, and the cases it decided this year will significantly affect the rights of women and girls across the country. Access to reproductive health care, TRAP laws restricting women’s access to legal abortion, and affirmative action hung in the balance. AAUW members across the country tuned in on July 19 to hear analysis of the court’s most important cases. Couldn’t make the call?

Equal Pay Laws by State

The Paycheck Fairness Act will help secure equal pay for equal work for all Americans. But until that happens, each state will continue operating under antiquated regulations and piecemeal state and local laws to combat unequal pay. While some states do have stronger laws than other states, AAUW members will keep working to make the whole country a better place for women to live and work.
